    Tebuconazole

    Common name: Tebuconazole (BSI, draft E-ISO)

    1-(4-chlorphenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-3-(1H-1,2,4-triazole-1-methyl)amyl-3-alcohol
    Properties
    Technical colorlss to light brown powder. M.P. 105℃; V.P.1.7*10-3mPa (20℃)。 Solubility (20℃,pH 5-9) 36mg/l in water; In dichloromethane>200, isopropanol, toluene 50-100,(all in g/l, 20℃) . Stable to elevated temperatures, and to photolysis and hydrolysis in pure water, under sterile conditions.
    Uses
    As a seed dressing, tebuconazole is effective against various smut and bunt diseases of cereals such as Tilletia spp., Ustilago spp., and Urocystis spp., also against Septoria nodorum. As a spray, tebuconazole controls numerous pathogens in various crops, for example, rust species at 125-250g/ha, powdery mildew at 200-250g/ha.

    Acute oral LD50 for male Japanese quail 4438, female Japanese quail 2912, bobwhite quail 1988mg/kg.

    Mancozeb
    Common name: Mancozeb (BSI, E-ISO)

    Chemical name: [1,2-Ethanediylbis(carbamodithioato)](2-)-manganese mixture with [1,2-Ethanediylbis(carbamodithioato)](2-)- zinc
    Properties
    Technical product is the gray and yellow powder. The false specific gravity is 0.62, melting point is 136℃(melt before melting point),flash point:137.8℃(open). It doesn't dissolve in water and most of the organic solvent , it dissolves when meet alkalinity. When the temperature is high, exposed in the air or wet is easy to dissolve, and it is easy to burn.
    Uses
    Control of many fungal disease in field crops, fruit, nuts, vegetables,ornamentals,etc. Used for foliar application or as a seed treatment.
    Toxicity
    Acute oral LD50 for rats>5000 mg/kg.

    Carbendazim
    Common name:Carbendazim (BSI, E-ISO)

    Chemical name: N-(benzimidazoly-2)methyl carbanate
    Properties
    Pure carbendazim is a white crystal powder, while the technical have tow color white and gray, begins sublime at 215-217℃, melts over 290℃, its decomposition is 306℃. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, chloroform and some other organic solvents. Soluble in inorganic acids and acetic acid, meantime forming salts. Its chemical properties are stable.
    Uses
    Carbendazim is a systemic broad-spectrum fungicide controlling a wide range of pathogens; it also can be use as a preservative in textile, papermaking, leathers, and painter industry as well as a preservative of fruits.
    Toxicity
    Low toxic, acute oral LD50 to mice is more than 10000mg/kg.

    Fosetyl-aluminium
    Common name: Fosetyl-aluminium (BSI, draft E-ISO)

    Properties
    Technical is a white powder. M.p.>200℃ V.p.<0.013mPa(25℃). Solubility in water 120g/l (20℃), in methanol 920, acetone 13( mg/l 20℃) Stability Hydrolysis of fosetyl aluminium occurs under extreme acid or alkaline conditions. Decompose above 200℃
    Uses
    Control of diseases caused by phycomycetes on a variety of crops including vines, fruit, berries, vegetables,hops, ornamentals and turf. Also useful activity against several bacterial plant pathogens.

    Propiconazole
    Common name: Propiconazole (BSI, draft E-ISO)
    CAS NO.: 60207-90-1
    Chemical name: 1-[[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-propyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl]methyl]-=1H-1,2,4-triazole
    Properties
    Technical is yellowish, odorless, viscous liquid. B.p 120℃ 1.9Pa. Solubility in water 120g/l (20℃), in n-hexane 47g/l. Completely miscible with ethanol, acetone, toluene and n-octanol ( 25℃) Stable up to 320 ℃, no sighificant hydrolysis.
    Uses
    Systemic foliar fungicide with a broad range of activity, at 100-150g/ha.. It can be used on cereals, bananas, rice, turf, coffee, peanuts, maize against helminthosporium spp.
    Toxicity
    Acute oral LD50 for Japanese quail 2223, bobwhite quail 2825.

    Epoxiconazole
    Common name: Epoxiconazole (BSI, pa-ISO)

    Chemical name: Cis-1-[[3-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-(4-fluorophenyl) oxiranyl]methyl]-=1H-1,2,4-triazole
    Properties
    Technical is white crystals. M.p. 163-164.5℃ V.p. <0.01mPa(20℃) Solubility in water 6.63*10-4g/100ml (20℃), in actone 14.4, dichloromethane 29.1, heptane 0.04(all in g/100g/ml) No hydrolysis at pH 5 and pH 7 within 12 days.
    Uses
    Broad-spectrum fungicide, with preventive and curative action, for control of diseases caused by Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, and Deuteromycetes in cereals, sugar beet, peanuts, oilseed rape, and ornamentals, generally at 125g/ha.
